Imagine if you can 7 girls in a 97 Mustang on the way to KCI, final stop: Vegas. Today for the first time, after having my license for six years, was able to offer to drive a group ( more than two people) to somewhere. Planning a trip to Vegas with 7 sorority sisters is not an easy feat but knowing I can contribute in getting there is a nice feeling. I cant even express what a release this spring break is going to be for me and everyone else working their buns off this semester.
Now I don't know if I've mentioned but I am (was) a working girl. For a while I was a Staff member at the Tin Can and after working a few months, 20 to 40 hours a week was great when the pay checks came but not when I started falling behind on school work. So I quit but paid for my flight and hotel.
Now my mother keeps hinting and throwing a little spending money my way. The guilt didn't take long to set in. How can I accept money from my little mommy? After supplying me with a kick-ass graduation gift. I cant possibly expect her to give me any money. Maybe I can squeeze in some babysitting in before the big week.
